Abstract: This webinar will focus on how to help low-literacy offenders before they enter the ABE multilevel correctional classroom. Participants will learn how to implement a well thought out program that begins with locating and assessing participants and leads to creating and implementing specifically designed instruction for each participant. Such a program will utilize pre-existing and free resources, very effective tutor training, and logistical cooperation by all involved in the challenging low tech correctional setting.
