We are all Technology Teachers and Learners: Advancing Our Practice Through Collaboration and Inquiry (Plus Google Classroom!)
Abstract: In a time of uncertainty, many educators have been thrust into virtual teaching with little in the way of support. This webinar will share lessons learned from The PHL Technology and Adult Education Initiative, an ongoing community of practice where Philly-based educators advance their use of technology through collaboration and inquiry with peers. A local program administrator in Philadelphia will provide tips and strategies for Google Classroom she gained as a participant of the initiative, which she has expanded for her learners during COVID-19. Ideas for building community and providing collaborative professional development remotely and in a time of scarce resources will also be shared. Come prepared to connect, learn, and reflect as a community! The PHL Technology and Adult Education Initiative was supported by the Office of Adult Education, a division of Philadelphia's Office of Workforce Development.
