Before their early departure from high school, noncompleters often struggled with challenges (poverty, mental health, addiction, and emotional and physical abuse). This webinar will share data collected from a qualitative study that explored the emotional and psychological experiences of high school non completers before their dropout and through enrollment in high school equivalency and adult basic education courses. Participants will gain a better understanding of barriers surrounding dropout and learn strategies to support student success.
