Abstract:
This webinar examines federal policy affecting adult education, including the Education–Labor partnership, America’s Talent Strategy, proposed changes to EDGAR, and opportunities under TEGL 05-25. Participants will explore how WIOA planning and partnerships can connect adult learners with employment services, vocational rehabilitation, Registered Apprenticeship, and postsecondary training. Practical examples will illustrate how Integrated Education and Training (IET), Workforce Pell, and Ability to Benefit can support career pathways, with attention to partner responsibilities, funding requirements, and measurable learner outcomes.
